Mahabhoj is a political satire play written by Mannu Bhandari, published in 1979 as a novel and in 1983 as a play. It tells the story of a rural village in Uttar Pradesh. It revolves around the death of a man named, 'Bissesar'. A corrupt leader, Da saheb, wins an election. Da saheb and his associates exploit the poor farmers and use the village for their own selfish interests.
