Minakari or Meenakari is the process of painting and colouring the surfaces of metals and ceramic tiles through enameling originating in Safavid Iran. It is practiced as an art form and commercially produced mainly in Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India (the term Kundan is more widely used in India). Minakari art usually involves intricate designs (mainly using geometric shapes and designs) and is applied as a decorative feature to serving dishes, containers, vases, frames, display ornaments and jewelry.

Material Required:

1- MDF Coaster / Cardboard cut in round - size 2.5 inches or 9 cms

2- Paint the surface with white acrylic colour

3- Draw the peacock before the workshop

4- Acrylic Colours- Ultramarine Blue, Cerulean Blue, Crimson Red,Golden Yellow,Black,White,Light Green

5- Gold 3D Liner / Glass Liner Gold (Any one)

6- Fevicol

7- Kundan / Resin Stones

(Preferably White, Yellow & Green)

Stone size - 2, 3 & 4

8- Brush - 2 & 4

9- Old Cloth and Rough Paper

10- Toothpick

11- Hair Dryer / Heat Gun (Anyone or if you don't have it's not compulsory)
