The programme is a live rendition of Qawali a form of Sufi Islamic devotional music originating from the Indian subcontinent.
The star performer of the evening is Mujtaba Aziz Naza son of the legendary Qawwal Aziz Naza who gave immortal Qawalis such as Chadhta Sooraj Dheere Dheere Dhalta Hai Dhal Jaayega and Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, Sharabi and many more.
