Eminent Sattriya Classical Dancer and renowned researcher herself, Smt Prateesha Suresh, through Pratishruti Foundation, Mumbai, brings to you a Masterclass like no other. Exploring uncharted territories and unexplored concepts in Indian classical dance, with a passion to highlight the intricacies of the Natya Shastra, Prateesha in collaboration with Piyal Bhattacharya, brings you the 4th rendition of the Shiksha series - an online workshop for Indian dancers, performers, actors, theatre artists and anyone interested in exploring their passion on a deeper level.

About The Event:

Renowned Natyashastra scholar, National Tagore Research scholar, Sangeet Natak Academy Awardee in Sanskrit Theatre, Sri Piyal Bhattacharya will explore the principle in understanding the usage of body and mind in Indian classical dance through the concepts taken from Natya Shastra. In this 4 day masterclass he will highlight the understanding and practice of dance through a concentrated mind and creating a visible canvas in an invisible space.

The Masterclass will be conducted online via zoom. Participants will be added to a Whatsapp group and sent a zoom link on the day of the masterclass.
