About the Event
A fort with a beautiful top-view of the surrounding areas, the Kalavantin Fort is located near Panvel and is surrounded by quaint villages like Matheran, Chanderi, Shrimallang, Irshal, Karnala and Manikgad. You can spot this hill from the Mumbai-Pune expressway, thanks to its V- shape, located right next to the Prabalgad hill. So come explore the monsoon showers as you make your way to the hills.
Day 1:
- Meeting Point for Mumbai and Pune People: Panvel St Depot at 07:00 AM
- Move ahead to Base Village in next an hour or so
- Introduction, instructions and start the trek
- Reach the plateau in 2 hrs
- Rest for a while
- Start Ascend towards Kalavantin
- Reach atop by 12:00 PM. Explore & Start Descend
- Back to the plateau by 01:00 PM
- After lunch descend back till 4 pm
- Start our return journey and Reach Panvel by 05:30 PM

- If cancellation done prior to 15 days of outing 75% will be refunded
- If done prior to 10 days of outing 50% will be refunded
- After that no refund will be provided
