About the Event
Prabalgad is located between Matheran and Panvel, which stands at an elevation of 2,300 feet (700 m) in the Western Ghats. Its sister fort is Irshalgad and Right next to Prabalgad, to its north, lies the steep Kalavantin fort. It was built by the Bahmani Sultanate to keep an eye on the Panvel Fort and the Kalyan Fort in the North Konkan area. The forts of Chanderi and Peb are to the west, The Manikgad Fort is to the south while the Karnala fort is located towards the north.
Difficulty – Moderate
Trek Duration - 3 Hrs ascend (approx.)
08:00 am - Move towards the base village Thakurwadi in a private vehicle. Delicious breakfast on the way to energize you for the trek.
09:00 am - Reach the base village and start the trek.
12:00 pm- Hurray! We have reached the Pinnacle. Enjoy the mesmerizing views of the Matheran Mountain Range, the Kalavantin Pinnacle below you. Click pictures capturing these memories, rest for a while.
1:00 pm- Start descend. It’s gonna be just as exciting as ascend.
2:30 pm - Reach prabalmachi where hot delicious typical maharashtrian food would be ready to be served. Rest for a while and begin to descend further.
05:00 pm- Reach the base village Thakurwadi where our private vehicle would be waiting to pick us up.
05:30 pm- At Panvel Station its time to say Goodbye to our fellow Hikers! We leave with a awe aspiring experience, new friends made, new bonds build and memories to cherish for life.

The outing has a strict NO Smoking/Drug/Alcohol Policy.
All the timings mentioned above are tentative.
Cancellation and Refund applicable on the whole tour cost :
If cancellation is done prior to 10 days of outing 75% will be refunded.
If done prior to 5 days of outing 50% will be refunded
After that, no refund will be provided.
