MSDCA School Premier League countdown is on

* T20 league registrations begin

Hyderabad: Mahendra Singh Dhoni Cricket Academy (MSDCA) is all set to conduct the School Premier League Season-1 T20 League. B.Venkatesh, director of 7H Sports organization, announced at the MSDCA High-Performance Center at Delhi Public School, Nacharam on 27th July 2023 that MSDCA, Brainiacs Bee and Pallavi Foundation are conducting the school premier league season-1. Later, Malka Yashaswi, COO of DPS (Nacharam) Educational Institutions said that they are happy that MS Dhoni Cricket Academy is conducting the league at the school level to bring out the talented cricketers. He asked talented cricketers to take part in selection trials and give them an opportunity to play in the league. It has been announced that the Pallavi Foundation will provide a scholarship worth Rs.5 lakh to the top five players who have shown outstanding talent in the league.

After that Rashid Basha, Director of Brainiacs Bee, the authorized partner in Andhra, Telangana and Karnataka for MSDCA, said that MSDCA was formed with the aim of exploring talented cricketers from remote areas and encouraging them. He said that this T20 school league will be conducted for boys under-14 and girls under-16 categories. He said that the five cricketers who have shown the best performance in the league will be given free training for six months anywhere in the MSDCA centers in Hyderabad.

Selection process 

After your registration we will send player profile form to your mail which needs to be filled.

2 days trail selection on the basis of batches 

1 day match of 10 overs those who all are shortlisted for the practice matches 

After the selection, the students those are not selected shall be given a participation in selections certificate 

Selection Process on field 

Bifurcate the received data in terms of batsman/bowlers/wicketkeepers and batches, then coordinate with the students and let them know the details like date and time of their trails

1st Stage: Nets session 3 overs for batsman (Fast bowler/Fast Medium/Spin)

 Need to identify batting skills, technique, shot selection, and overall performance. 

2 overs for bowlers 

Need to identify the line, length, swing, movement, runup and overall performance. 

1 over for wicket keepers

Need to identify mental strength, physical presence, agility and overall performance 

Grading 

1-4 

Where 4 is the best 

3 is considerable 

2 needs to work

1 very poor 

2nd Stage: Matches Conduct the matches for the above selected students and then filter.
