This is a Heritage Walk

On this Heritage Walk, start from the Historic Kala Ghoda area, learn about it’s history, walk past one of the most iconic colleges not only in Mumbai but in India, the oldest library of Mumbai, one of the oldest cast iron buildings in the world where the legendary author Mark Twain used to stay,synagogue, walk past he premises where iconic ships were build on one of which the National Anthem of America (The Star Sprangled Banner was written), one of the only churches in the world which has a statue of a Brahmin Priest, one of the most photographed buildings of Mumbai which has books more than 500-800 years old. Also learn about the former “Fort Bombay “and it’s 3 gates and an area known as “Bombay Green”.
