Suryakant Tripathi Nirala - A renowned name in the veritable pillar of Hindi Literature.

This play describes one day of Nirala's later life. It also shows his solitude, his shrewdness, his love for Hindi and his eccentric nature. This play opens a new chapter of Nirala's introduction to the audience. Each character in the play has its own separate existence. Hazari Dada Ji is a wrestler and he has a thirty-six figure with poetry. Mr. Sinha is an advocate of English language and looks at Hindi with inferiority complex. Nirala is hurt because of not being able to gain respect as a hindi poet. Shyam Lal is a businessman who has nothing to do with literature and whose life Nirala saved him. Uda is an art lover and looks at Nirala with reverence, great joy in playing the music of the songs of this drama and a good actor like Hemant Mahore realizes the role of Nirala on the stage and revamped the songs.
