About Nethravathi Trek, Chikmagalur:

Located in the Kudremukh forest range, The Nethravathi trek is among the lesser-known, yet most beautiful and adventurous tourist destinations. Traverse the verdant lush green forests of Western Ghats and you might also spot Sambar Deers, Bisons, and Bears. Start the journey from Banglore, stay in camps, savor the delicious meals, and have fun on the trek with your companions.

Information about Nethravathi Trek

To organize a trip we need at least 10-12 booking

Trek difficulty: Moderate to Difficult

Duration of the Trip: 2 Days/1 Night

Where: Near Kalasa, Chikmagalur, The amazing Western Ghats of Karnataka

Trek Distance: 12 km Approximate

Trail Type: Grasslands, Thick Forests, Ever-Flowing streams, and steep inclinations

Itinerary for Nethravathi Trek

Day 0 - Overnight Journey to Netravathi Peak 

Get picked up in Bangalore

Day 1 - Begin the Netravathi Trek

On the first day of your Netravathi Trek, you will reach homestay around 7:00 AM

You will finish your breakfast and carry a packed lunch (In your empty steel box)

Later reach the trek base camp through a jeep ride.

Around 9:00 AM, start the trek to Netravathi Peak, where you will cover a distance of 12 km (both ways).

You can finish your packed lunch at the peak.

Soak in the serene views from the peak.

After finishing the trek around 6:00 PM you will reach the homestay again.

Enjoy the bonfire (If weather permits)

Savour the delicious dinner and retire for the night.

Day 2 - Sightseeing | End of Netravathi Trek

On Day 2, around 08:00 AM, you will finish your breakfast.

Kalsa Hanging bridge.

Belur Chennakeshava Temple

Have a self-sponsored lunch and dinner on the way

Return to Bangalore around 11:00 PM and get back home with splendid memories,

The itinerary may change according to the situation, availability, and permission.

As it is a Group tour, all the participants must cooperate with the guide, and no individual decision will be accepted

Once you've booked your tickets, we will reach out to you and provide you with more information like exact pick-up times, exact location, coach details and more on WhatsApp.

Any changes in Pick Up locations will be notified to the participants 10-12 hrs before the start of the trip.

Things to Carry

Face mask and sanitizer

Strong backpack for trekking

Water bottles are at least 1-2 liters

Extra set of clothes (if necessary)

A Poly Bag to carry your wet clothes back to Bangalore

Sunscreen and sunglasses (optional)

Cap/hat

Toiletries: – comb, towel, soap, tissue paper, Toothbrush and other essentials etc. (if necessary)

Raincoat or a poncho

Personal medication if any

A torch with new batteries (can be managed by mobile light)

Please don’t carry these this while trekking;1) Plastic Water Bottles (refilling to non-plastic bottles is available)2) Plastic Lunch Box.

(Carry one empty non-plastic Tiffin/Lunch Box)3) Carrying Snacks is allowed only without any plastic wrappers while trekking. ( Fill ur snacks into the box without wrappers)All these instructions applies only on first day of trekking

NOTES

It’s mandatory to provide government documents for Trek Permit like voter ID, Ration Card, Driving license, PAN card, or Passport.

Choose a Friday Date for Saturday Trek

Cleanliness is our top most priority. So, please do not throw trash out anywhere in the trek place.

Your equipment and equipment distributed are to be carried by yourself, like bags, sticks, etc.

As you are exploring nature, don’t expect luxury. Washrooms are only available at the hotel campsite (you reach the hotel/campsite for breakfast).

You agree to indemnify yourself for the risks involved in the outings varying from destination to destination.

If you fail to do the Reservation we are not responsible for that. So at that point in time, you can reschedule the trek to next week or go for a different trek.
