Ready to conquer the highest peak of Maharashtra this February? Join us with the peeps of Mapping Journeys, as we trek (Difficulty level= Medium) to Mt. Kalsubai in Ahmednagar, at 5,400 feet. Here’s your itinerary:

February 27

04:52 PM- Catch the CST-Kasara train.

07:30 PM- Assemble at meeting point at Kasara station. Leave for Kalsubai in a private vehicle.

09:00 PM- Reach Kalsubai and proceed for some rest and dinner.

11:00 PM- Begin the trek!

February 28

02:30 AM- Reach the top and enjoy the star-studded sky, which also offers a view of the Milky Way, if you are lucky. Rest here.

06:00 AM- Head for the peak. Watch one of the best sunrises ever. Explore and have breakfast.

10:00 AM- Start descending.

12:30 PM – Reach base, fill your stomach and move towards Kasara station.

05:30 PM – Reach Mumbai (Tentative).
