About the Event

Origami is one of the most fascinating art form in the history and was originated in Japanese culture. It is not just a fun activity for kids, but can also be meditative for adults and has helped scientists in aerospace technology as well. In kids, it helps build motor movements, eye and hand coordination, logical reasoning, sequenc ing skills, spatial skills, memory, patience and focus. The joy of creation art out of paper has no bounds when explored hence has touched the sky now.


Lahe Lahe brings to you Origam Workshop for all to explore the art and have a relaxed start of August. Here we will teach you how to create a pen stand and a pin wheel. So be prepared for a fun-some fun-day on Sunday, 2nd August from 2 pm to 4 pm.


In this workshop, we will guide you to create a pen stand and a pin wheel. And below are the materials required:


Pen Stand

- 6 square sheets of paper (8x8 inches)

- 1 cardboard (12 inches)

- 1 fevicol/ fevistick

- 1 cutter/ blade/ scissor

- 1 sketch pen/ pencil/ pen

- few paper clips


Pin Wheel

- 4 square sheets of paper (12x12 inches)

- 1 rectangular sheet of paper (2x4 inches)

- 1 ball pin (1 & 1/2 inches)

- 1 eraser

- 1 kitchen tong

Workshop fee - Rs. 300/-

Our artist, Geeta is a teacher and a financial advisor with passion for arts and crafts. She has technical knowledge on paper craft, origami, crochet and many more.
