About the Play – 

Park, a play written by Mr. Manav Kaul has several layers to it. On a simplistic

level it is a comedy about three men in a park fighting for their place; there

are three benches but not enough.

About the Director – 

Mr. Varun Sharma, actor, director, writer and a theatre enthusiast, believes that there are 3 most important pillars in any actor’s journey to fulfil his aspiration; Regularity, Sincerity and Punctuality. He feels that every budding actor should have a professional approach towards their passion and should continue working on their craft with patience and perseverance.

He has been learning and imparting his knowledge in the field of theatre since 2003. Having worked with various schools, colleges, and theatre professionals, he decided to establish Theatreleela Acting Studio in 2015. An Institute with the ideology of providing the best platform to all the budding actors with the passion and eagerness to work towards their dream.

As an Actor, Mr. Sharma started his career in 2003 and performed in numerous plays at school, college and professional level. Few of the plays he has acted in are; Premchand’s Idgah, Do Kaudi Ka Khel, Khamosh Adaalat Jaari Hai, Saiyan Bhaye Kotwal, Abhigyan Shakuntalam, Jinne Lahore Nahi Vekhiya Woh Janmiya He Nahi, A Mid- Summer Night’s Dream and many more.

His inclination towards direction took place in the year 2010 with few renowned and award winning productions like; Charandas Chor, Surya Ki Antim Kiran Se Surya Ki Pehli Kiran Tak, Park, Medea, Ashtavakra, Chukayenge Nahi, etc.
