About the Event
The play is based on the three stories written by harishankar parsai. All the three stories are spiced up with satire. The first storey named “ram katha skepak” has two chapters. The first chapter gives out the message that the chief/president of the labour union should always be cautious that the businessmen does not deceive him.
The second chapter states that due to the concept of “all in the Family”, i.e. Providing the family members with position the adminastration and their involvment, Offen, no leagal action is taken.
The second storey goes by the name, “prem ki biradari”. It attacks the concept of casteism & fundamentalism. The storey talks about the challenges one has to face for loving someone from the other caste and how the society demands a “caste certificate” in order to love someone, where as, the concept of “love” is about freedom and liberty. Love knows no boundaries of religion and caste. The third storey, “itihas ka sabse bada juwa” is set in the period of mahabharata. It depicts the Gambling episode of the same.
The storey tries to convey the message of a political satire that states that the game is of power and politics in which if you’re opponent is sent to an exile of thirteen years tt is quite natural that you gain a powerful position.
This play is based on the modern context and approach of parsai.
