Peb Fort or Vikatgad is a delightful trek in the Monsoon season. Located near Matheran, Peb Fort also known as the Vikatgad. This trek near the foothills of Matheran offers all that a trekker can ask for: climbing ladders, navigating rock patches, ancient caves, dense forest, ridge walking, pleasant weather and mindblowing views of surrounding prominent peaks and forts. This trek is excellent for new trekkers as well as experienced ones.

The fort is named after "Goddess Pebi". As per history, this fort was used to store grainsgrains in the caves. The cave on the fort is occupied by disciples of Swami Samarth, a great saint. They have contributed a lot to the development of this fort for the last ten years. They have managed successfully to keep the cave and the fort clean and maintained the dignity of the Peb fort.

7:30 AM - 9:00 AM: Have breakfast and reach starting point in shared vehicle.

09:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Trek to Peb summit.

01:00 PM: Start descending to Matheran by the same route.

04:00 PM: Reach road head and take a shared cab to Neral Station.
