In this session, you will:

• Make the human head from the front, side and profile view
• Learn how to give your cartoons a charterer- by minimizing and exaggerating
• The basic techniques for making expressions
• Learn how to draw a cartoon head with a real image reference
• Understand the basic anatomy of the skull

About the Artform

The workshop will be centred around a style of illustration loosely based on the animated TV shows of the late 1950s and early 1960s—a time when everything had a flat, graphic look. You will learn the fundamentals of character illustration and work on simplifying and exaggerating features.
