Itinerary

Day 1:

Arrive at Chennai airport, pickup and head to Pondicherry via road through the scenic East Coast Road. (Take a flight which reaches Chennai airport before 9 AM) 

• Reach Pondicherry. Check-in at the hotel. Rest until evening and head to the famous Pondicherry promenade. 

Chill beside the beautiful rock beach and enjoy the sunset there. 

• An evening stroll through the French town, Promenade beach and local markets

Meals Included: Lunch (Enroute Puducherry at A2B - Tamil Nadu Thali)

Day 2:

Today post breakfast we will visit the paradise beach for a day trip.

Evening at the promenade before heading back to the hotel.

• Visit the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus

• Visit Notre Dame

Day 3: 

• Visit Auroville, the famous symbol of religious harmony, Swaram (Healing with Music and spirituality) followed by sunset at Serenity beach. 

Overnight at Pondicherry

Meals included: Breakfast & Lunch at Tanto Pizzeria (Authentic wood-fired Pizzas)

Day 4: 

Pichavaram Mangrove Forrest - Second Largest Mangrove Forrest in India, explore Pichavaram by a local boat.

Day 5

• Bid farewell to Pondicherry & leave for Mahabalipuram post breakfast. 

We will cover the shore of the Mahabalipuram beach along with the shore temple. Shore temple The Shore Temple (built-in 700–728 AD) is so named because it overlooks the shore of the Bay of Bengal. (Shore temple might be closed due to covid, it is expected to open around 15th December) if it is closed we will still cover the beach and you can have an early dinner at one of the cafes before we head to Chennai airport. Fun tip: Cafe Bob Marley has some great views & vibe but the food is okayish, but well it's famous and Insta famous. You can also shop at a flea market for jewellery and a lot of other things made from seashells. Surprise Surprise we will also visit Crocodile Park today.
