Prateek Kuhad

Delhi-based singer-songwriter Prateek Kuhad firmly established himself as one of the frontrunners in the Indian independent music scene with the release of his first album, In Tokens & Charms, in January 2015. There's been no looking back since. The last year has seen him sell out venues across India, be awarded the Best India Act at the 2016 MTV Europe Music Awards, win first place in the singer songwriter category of the 2016 International Songwriting Competition, and finally sign a publishing deal with LA based company Cutcraft Music where he joins the likes of Nick Murphy (Chet Faker), Izzy Bizu and CP Dubb as part of their roster. When he plays live, Prateek recreates a warmth and vulnerability that has become his signature, effortlessly blending his folk-pop sensibilities with heartbreaking lyrical irony.
