bFLAT presents Projekt Maya - the latest offering from an ensemble of well-known Bangalore musicians who have each carved a niche for themselves in their respective fields.

The band writes original music which has been influenced by jazz, rock, Hindustani classical, Carnatic classical, and pop and yet, they stay true and respectful to these disciplines, holding onto each genre's individual characteristics.

Jataveda’s soaring vocals and Nikhmal Gartula’s creative guitaring combine with beautiful bass lines by Shalini Mohan backed by Karthik Mani’s powerful and intricate drumming.

Jataveda Bannerjee is a Hindustani vocalist and music educator. Nikhmal Gartaula, an accomplished guitarist/educator who specialises in finger-style flamenco and other genres. Shalini Mohan is one of the city's most popular bassists and Karthik Mani is well established as a talented percussionist and drummer, well-versed in Carnatic, Jazz and other music genres.
