The Pune Jazz Project is a curated ensemble of eclectic musicians. Together, they perform Jazz standards, as well as different styles of Jazz that include a sprinkle of Swing, RnB, Funk, and Soul. PJP rearranges popular songs in their own style, with heavy influences and inspirations from Post Modern Jukebox, FKJ, and other legends from the modern vanguard of new Jazz. Each member of PJP comes from a different background, and this is reflected in their individual styles of music. This mix results in a very unique sound which always resonates with the audience, no matter the demographic in question. PJP launched themselves at the ‘Pune Tapped Fest’ in 2022. They shared the stage with ‘The Turbans’ in a charismatic debut, and have since gone on to perform at some of the most prestigious live music venues in Bombay & Pune. The upcoming Delhi tour is going to be very special, as PJP have put together some super takedowns of modern anthems, in their signature PJP style, brimming with magical vibes.
