Adventure Geek invites you to the Rantangad Special Sonki Flower trek

Ratangad Trek is a hill fort near Ratan Wadi, This time we are going to ascend Vai Sandhan Valley and this is going to be exciting. Overlooking one of the oldest artificial catchment areas. The fort is about 2000 years old. Ratangad has a natural rock peak with a cavity in it at the top which is called Nedhe or Eye of the Needle. Ratangad was captured by Chhatrapati Shivaji Raje Bhosle and was one of his favorites. The base village Ratanwadi has an Amruteshwar temple that is famous for its carvings. The fort is the origin of the river Pravara/Amrutvahini. The Bhandardara dam is built on this river.Ratangad trek lies in Ighatpuri region.

10.30 pm: Sion Lunch Home, Sion

11.00 pm: Mulund check Naka

11.15 pm: Teen hath Naka

12.15 pm: Last pickup from Kalyan-Bhiwandi bypass.

Continue our journey to the base village

05.00 am: Reach base village and have breakfast and fresh n up

06.00 am: Start trek after Breakfast and Tea.

09.30 am: Reach Top Explore the Fort and Photography.

11.30 am: Start Descending

01.45 pm: Reach Base Village

Lunch and Visit Amruteshwar temple.

03.00 pm: Start our Return Journey

08.30 pm: Mumbai depends on traffic.
