Rishiraj Kulkarni is a solo independent artist based in India and the Netherlands. His musical journey began with the tabla in 2005. Over the years, he has received invaluable guidance from Ustad Zakir Hussain and continues to learn from Pandit Yogesh Samsi. An alumnus of A.R. Rahman’s KM Music Conservatory and a graduate of Middlesex University in London, Rishiraj has explored the fusion of sounds from instruments such as the Handpan, Rav Vast, and Tabla, combined with intricate natural sounds using the Maschine.

With two albums to his name, Home and The Woods, and annual tours across India, Europe, and the UK, Rishiraj now comes to Mumbai for the final leg of his tour to share his journey and deep connection with his instruments.

खोया मैं . . . India Tour is dedicated to his guru, Ustad Zakir Hussain. It is a journey across India where Rishiraj and his team transport all their equipment, performing in cities while also stopping in remote villages to offer free music performances to rural communities. Throughout this journey, they remain mindful of their ecological impact.

Covering an estimated 12,000 km, the खोया मैं . . . India Tour will span from January to April 2025.
