This year, Road to Converse Rubber Tracks in India is back for Season Two and the hunt for worthy finalists led us to the five cities of Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, Guwahati and Pune. With bands being able to register online through a simple registration form on rubbertracks.nh7.in, we got over 350 band entries and over 20000 votes from the fans.

The votes whittled down the finalist for the Regional Round showcases to five in each city where a panel of judges picked their favourite bands after stellar showdowns between the voted in local bands. The showcases in each city were headlined by some of the biggest bands in India with Thermal And A Quarter, Superfuzz, Blackstratblues, Sky Rabbit and Lucid Recees +Aberrant headlining, Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, Pune and Guwahati respectively.

Space Is All We Have (Bangalore), Komorebi (Delhi), Unohu (Mumbai), Dossers Urge (Guwahati) and Skylight Vision (Pune) will now participate in the Finale of the Road to Converse Rubber Tracks in India Season Two on April 1 at Blue Frog Mumbai with last season’s winners, The F16s and electro-pop duo Shaai'r and Func headlining. The Road to Converse Rubber Tracks in India Season Two finale will see these five bands play for a chance at a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity - an all expense paid trip to record at the Converse Rubber Tracks studio in Brooklyn.
