About the Event

Jalāl ad-Dīn Muhammad Rūmī, popularly known as Rumi, is a Persian poet, jurist, Islamic scholar, theologian, and Sufi mystic. Rumi is greatly appreciated for his spiritual legacy for the past seven centuries. He is regarded as one of the greatest spiritual masters and poetic intellects. He uses everyday life circumstances to describe spirituality. Rumi's life has always touched deeply, not only the people who admire literature or seek spiritual guidance but even a common man.


Calling all the literature lovers & admirers, poets & storytellers to come, share his poems and celebrate RUMI. You can sing or recite his poetry, in any language, but then do translate it in English. Along with his poetry and story, you can also recite your original poems or narrate stories. Poets , admires and lovers of Rumi all are welcome.


Rasa aur Drama Theater, presents events focusing on encouraging literature amongst the people. Every time, a renowned poet or author is chosen and their work will be recited, promoting and celebrating literature.
