About the Event

Diversity is about all of us, and about us having to figure out how to walk through this world together.” – Jacqueline Woodson

Saarang Sandhya 2023, Yash Charitable Trust’s annual showcase of music, dance and drama, strives to represent beauty in diversity. Our show, titled "Different Rhythms, One Heart" will highlight how our differences, when embraced and accepted, can help create a more inclusive world.

Join us on Sunday, December 3, to celebrate International Day of Persons with Disabilities, which aims to promote empowerment and the creation of real opportunities for people with disabilities.

You will be in for an unforgettable evening of rhythm, grace, and mesmerising performances by our team members - adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities joined by their friends and families. This event serves as a reminder that, just like different rhythms in a song, the world is a richer and more beautiful place because of its diversity.

Please Note: Gates Open at 6:30 pm; Show will start at 7:15 pm.

Did you know?

An estimated one billion people living with disabilities worldwide face multiple barriers to inclusion in many critical aspects of society. For example, they do not enjoy equal access to transportation, employment, education, or social and political participation.

**

Yash Charitable Trust works to provide opportunities for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live and work in the community of their choice with dignity and self-respect. We believe that the right to participate in public life is essential to create stable democracies, active citizenship, and reduce societal inequalities.
