The Dutch DJ and remixer Sander van Doorn (real name Sander Ketelaars) was born in Eindhoven in 1979. He began his professional life in 2004 working with Oxygen Recordings and released a series of successful club hits with the label. In 2007 he released a remix of 'When the Sun Goes Down', a track previously recorded by Yorkshire band Arctic Monkeys. His style has been influential in shaping modern club music, particularly amongst European DJs and his remixes of tracks such as 'Marry the Night' by Lady Gaga and 'Control Freak' by Armin van Buuren have received widespread acclaim.
