About the Event
Sangamam means Confluence in Sanskrit. Sangamam is a series of experiences where Epics, Art and Storytelling come together to create a very special ensemble.
India has many epics and diverse painting traditions. Some of the kings commissioned painters to create collections of paintings on epics, many of which are scattered in various museums around the world.
“Sangamam: The Aranyakanda” is a unique experience curated by Arun Ramarathnam to inspire young and old to enjoy Indian epics through art.
Arun invites you to see, hear and enjoy these magnificent epics through the window of these great painting traditions and artists. Looking at various scenes of the epic through the eyes of different artists can be truly an enriching experience.
The curated experience will take you through 14 Aranyakanda scenes and also give you some exposure to the numerous painting traditions of India.
Arun is an IT professional who is a heritage and history lover by passion and indulgence. He is also deeply interested in Temple architecture.
Come and immerse yourselves in a special evening of Epics, Art and Storytelling!
