Arsha Vidya Mandir presents Savitri - A production by the students of 11th and 12th

Savitri is a play based on the famed story of Savitri and Satyavan from the Mahabharatha. However, this version juxtaposes the spirituality that Aurobindo wrote in his masterpiece by the same name and the story as it appears in Vyasa's Mahabharatha. It depicts how a woman becomes a symbol of spiritual destiny and a vision of existence, by challenging death for seeking what she desires most with undaunting perseverance and honesty. It is not just a love story but a seeking of truth and the purpose of life on earth.
