Shibori comes from the Japanese word "shiboru" which means "to wring, squeeze or press". It is a Japanese manual resist dyeing technique. This technique is used to produce a number of different and mesmerizing patterns on fabric.

Materials Required:

1. 2 Pieces of White cotton fabric washed size 16X16inches

2. 2 ice cream sticks

3. Rubber bands

4. Sewing threads or embroidery threads

5. Sewing needles

6. Scissors

7. Pencil, inch tape, eraser

8. Any heating source

9. 4 aluminum or steel vessels

10. 7 to 9 spoons of tea

11. 4 spoons of alum powder

12. 8 spoons of salt

13. 4 spoons of vinegar

14. Onion skeins of 9 to 11 onions

15. Spoons or sticks for stirring

16. Water
