Tamasha Theatre presents an evening of live music that provokes, challenges and elevates. Some of Mumbai theatre’s most talented singer/actors and musicians explore contemporary rendering of music from the Bhakti and Sufi traditions.

About the artists:

Jahnvi Shrimankar:

Jahnvi Shrimankar is a versatile singer who sings in various genres like bollywood, bhajans, folk songs, ghazals and semi-classical. She has trained in semi-classical music with Smt. Kaumudi Munshi, Sugam sangeet with Padma Shri Purshottam Upadhyay and Voice culture with Shri Gautam Mukherjee. As a performing artist she has performed in over 800 shows in India and abroad at destinations in UK, UAE, Germany, Qatar, Singapore, Hongkong, Malaysia, Japan, etc.

Kailash Waghmare:

Kailash Waghmare is a known face in Marathi film and theatre world. He is a part of the critically acclaimed play "Shivaji Underground in Bhimnagar Mohlla!" and in Sunil Shanbag's recent Aadyam play 'Loretta'. He has played a lead role in the film 'Manatlya Unat'.

Ketaki Thatte:

Ketaki is a well known Hindi and Marathi theatre actress. Her Marathi plays include popular plays like 'Katkon Trikon' and 'Bandha-mukta, and her Hindi plays include the critically acclaimed 'Stories in a Song', directed by Sunil Shanbag. She has also played significant parts in Marathi films like 'Galgale nighale' and 'Sikandar'.
