Chandertal lake alias the moon lake is a crescent-shaped basin, surrounded by the gigantic Himalayan Mountains on all the sides. The lake is located in Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh at an elevation of 14100 ft. Earlier, the lake was the resting point for the traders and voyagers who used to come from Tibet or Ladakh.

Itinerary:

Day 1 : Evening leave from Delhi by Volvo (Starting from Majnu ka tila/ Vidhansabha metro station)

Meals: None

Day 2 : Reach Manali ,check in at hotel , free day for rest & local sightseeing 

Meals: Dinner

Day 3 : Early morning start to Rohtang pass, reach chandratal by evening, overnight stay in camps (By private cab / traveler)

Meals: Breakfast & Dinner

Day 4 : After some early morning pictures at the most beautiful lake in India, head towards Kaza (The main part of Spiti). 

Meals : Breakfast & Dinner

Day 5 : Sightseeing of Hikkim , Komik & Langza (arguably the best part of the journey, you visit the world's highest post office) 

Meals: Breakfast & Dinner

Day 6: Back to Manali 

After breakfast, start your journey towards Manali, drop at Manali (You can take overnight volvo to Delhi or spend an extra day to rest in Manali)

Meals: Breakfast

Inclusions: 1 night stay in Manali, 1 night stay in Chandratal, 2 nights stay in Kaza
