About the Event

The Sufi Heritage Festival is a pioneering cultural celebration dedicated to the timeless traditions of Sufism. The first edition takes place in association with the Aga Khan Trust for Culture.

Inspired by Delhi’s rich heritage, this all-inclusive festival unites music, art, poetry, spirituality and storytelling, offering a deeply immersive experience.

This festival is an ode to Delhi’s syncretic culture, where traditions, faiths, and histories merge seamlessly, reflecting the city's soul.

A weekend of spellbinding performances, immersive workshops, masterclasses in Sufi art, a vibrant bazaar, and authentic culinary experiences awaits you.

Beyond preserving tradition, SHF 2025 embraces a modern lens, ensuring relevance for new generations—helping them express, absorb, and celebrate this rich legacy.

Why Attend SHF 2025?

A one-of-a-kind festival celebrating Sufi ideals of openness, inclusivity, and diversity.

An eclectic mix of music, poetry, crafts, and storytelling, featuring luminaries like Rekha Bharadwaj, Laksh Maheshwari, Priya Malik, Aditi Mangaldas, Kabir Café, Ananyaa Gaur, Jasleen Aulakh, A.R Rahmans KM Sufi Ensemble, Saumya Kulshreshtha, Harish Budhwani, Samandar Khan and many others.

Engage in workshops on Aari embroidery, calligraphy, and cultural renewal.

Experience Sufi storytelling reimagined for modern times, alongside a curated bazaar showcasing handwoven textiles, carpets, and artisanal wares.

From the tales of Nizamuddin Auliya to the poems of Amir Khusrau, from qawwali from the dargah to the soulful verses of Bulleh Shah—this festival is an artistic and spiritual journey.

Come unwind and tune in at the festival and experience—heritage walks, intimate conversations, vibrant workshops, and evening performances under the stars in the breathtaking green expanse of Sunder Nursery.
