Talking Books, held at Great State DIVE brings together readers and authors for casual but serious conversations, at a bar! Nandini Nair, the Arts & Books Editor of Delhi-based Open Magazine, curates this event. It has the intimacy of a drawing room conversation, and the energy of a bar. Zac O’Yeah is a Bengaluru-based author and traveller, who has published seventeen books in Swedish and English, including several fiction and nonfiction bestsellers. His foodie memoir Digesting India, is filled with the internationally acclaimed author’s trademark humour. Digesting India informs and entertains as well as introduces readers to regional food cultures in the subcontinent. This book combines the three activities that Zac O’Yeah loves most—eating, drinking and travelling—in a delightful romp based on thirty years of trying to understand India through its food culture.

Zac O’Yeah’s writings have been translated into over 20 languages, three of his stories are being made into films, and he also works as a pop musician in Sweden—his new single STOP! recorded by The Ändå will be released this month.
