Digital art has become an integrated part of our day-to-day life. In this workshop, participants will be taken through a brief history of Digital art and its origin, development and its progression into mainstream art and media. The session will have a speed-painting demonstration on Photoshop and a talk on the position of art in the digital age. Participants will then move onto the practical session and create artwork using an open-source software on their own laptops. This would be a vector based design/drawing. They will be guided throughout the practical session.
