About the Event

Got 99 problems? Healing your gut can solve at least 86 of them! In this session, gain a basic understanding of food and lifestyle reasons that affect your gut, learn simple practical habits that can be adopted into daily life and recipes to greatly enhance gut health.


When your gut is out of balance, the effect can show up not just in the gut, but anywhere in your body in the form of low immunity, lifestyle diseases, hormonal imbalances, depression, weight gain, mental fog, joint pains, inflammation, allergies, and even autoimmune disease. Improving gut health requires a holistic approach.


In this workshop:


Part 1 – Theory (1.5 hours) - gain a basic understanding of what the gut is and how it functions, the irritants, foods that enhance gut health, daily habits that have a profound impact on your gut and overall health.


Part 2 Practical (2.15 hours) – Semi Hands-on Cooking Class of living, prebiotic and probiotic foods that will love your gut.


Giveaways – Recipe Handout


Some recipes need fermentation. These will be demonstrated and a small portion of the already prepared recipe will be given to taste.

About Bhavana
Bhavna Kapoor is a certified Holistic Health Coach from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, New York. She specializes in plant-based nutrition and cooking, has 30 years of training in Iyengar Yoga and is deeply devoted to the study and practice of healing through the elements of nature. Bhavna’s personal experience of curing her gut (which had escalated to acidity, sinus, allergies, low immunity, joint pains and borderline piles) through shifts in diet and lifestyle gave her a clear mission – to simplify natural living for better health. Bhavna lives in Dehradun and travels to Delhi, Mumbai, Chandigarh and Goa to conduct workshops, consults and retreats.
