About the Event
Enroute Indian History is conducting a seminar on Ghalib. The man has become the hallmark of Urdu poetry and ghazals. His work is vastly heard, read and interpreted. Ghalib was vociferous, intelligent, self aware and often indulgent person who lived an eventful life in 19th century Shahjahanabad. Attend this one hour seminar as we trace his life from Delhi to Agra, his journey to Calcutta, his love for wine and his poetry.
