Making hand-lifted paper is a unique and stimulating experience. In this workshop you will be taken through the process of making handcrafted paper, by a process that was established in the 17th Century. Made with waste from paper and cotton rags this immersive experience will guide you to understand the process of making paper.

At the end of the workshop, you will leave with a handmade paper of your own that you can customize as per your preferences and with an experience of a lifetime.

In this workshop you will have the opportunity to:

- Create your very own sheet of bespoke A5 sheet of handmade paper (as many as you can!)

- Be an ambassador of a craft that has been indigeneious to India since the 17th Century

About Bombay Paperie:

Bombay Paperie seeks to breathe new life into the dying craft of traditional paper making, that has been passed down for generations. With the help of the last two remaining master papermakers they have been able to train a younger generation. The vats are in use again to make the thin, strong paper of old, possibly the last mill to make it out of cotton rags.
