Directed by Christopher Nolan, The Prestige is a film set in 1878 London where Robert, his wife Julia and Alfred are assistants to a stage magician. After a magic trick goes wrong resulting in the tragic death of Juila, Robert blames Alfred and from that point on, their lives spiral into a web of lies, deceit and betrayal as they both compete to be best at their craft. As the two of them reach the peak of their career, their rivalry eventually leads to terrible consequences that change their lives.
