What happens when you have a time-traveling ghost meet with two fictional characters across eras? You have “THREE WOMEN”. 

The timeless see-saw of negotiating purpose and second chances are at the heart of this saucy, satirical, multi-media, dram-com set to folk-pop beats and live music with a further fictional spin on the lives of three of Tagore’s women.

Described by renowned Bollywood director Pradeep Sarkar as "a brilliant production" and actor/activist Nandita Das as "a must watch", the show has received stellar press reviews across all mainstream & international media. 

The three women engage in dialogue and travel in time to explore their purpose across times to realize that while there may have been an external revolution for women between the 19th and 21st centuries but much remains the same. 

“Three Women” illustrates the continuing relevance of Tagore’s work as women today negotiate similar issues of identity, purpose, beauty and empowerment in the public domain. 

The play which premiered at the Kala Ghoda Festival in 2014 in partnership with the prestigious Asia Society NY, has had a record of successive, multi-city standing ovations. “Three Women” has been written, directed and musically designed by Isheeta Ganguly. The production features Archana Patel, Komal Khanna & Prerna Talwar with technical design by Shawn Lewis & Prashant Sharma. The show has featured opening narration performances by Juhi Chawla, Lisa Haydon & Mandira Bedi with costumes by Tarun Tahiliani.
