Tajdar Junaid is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, composer and producer. His debut album “What Colour Is Your Raindrop” features many varied instruments which showcase his broad

taste in music. The charango, sarangi, sarod, oud amongst others. His music can be heard in International films. Legendary Iranian filmmaker Mohsen Makhmalbaf’s film “The President” features his song “Dastaan”. Academy award winner Emma Thomson’s film “Sold” also features 2 of his songs.

Past collaborations/performances include Gulzar, Karsh Kale, Blackstratblues, Amyt Datta, New Zealand songwriter Greg Johnson, Swanand Kirkire, Anusheh Anadil. He has also been a part of award winning soundtracks for films by Anurag Kashyap productions, Aparna Sen, Rituparno Ghosh.

Amongst his recent work is the Amazon Kindle TVC and Mukti Bhavan feature film which won the National Awards and for which he was nominated for Best Background Score for FilmFare Awards.

Recent performances include Barbican Centre London, Celtic festival Scotland, Berlin Museum Germany and in India: The Humming Tree - Bangalore, Windmills Craftworks - Bangalore, NH7 Weekender, Ziro Music Festival.
