As the name suggests we are a set of people who come from different backgrounds in music but are pure Dilli wala by heart. Delhi is a place of Mughal architecture, Sufi inspired music and of course the lovely food. Our music is a mix of Sufi, Indie, Bollywood, Folk and Punjabi music blended with western elements of Jazz, Blues, Rock, Funk and Latin Music. In past the members have performed at various venues accross India and abroad. All members come from a diverse background and have experience of playing more than 500 shows with various projects which includes major festivals like South Asian Band Fest, Escape Festival, Dubai Festival etc. In past the band has collaborated and shared the stage with artists like Harshdeep Kaur, Rekha Bhardwaj, Shilpa Rao, Parikrama, Indian Ocean, Hari-Sukhmani, Astitva and many more. Delhi Indie Project is not a typical Indie band. We play known cover songs in our own unique style with a lot of instrumental jam along with Originals. The band is a treat for true music listeners and our grooves are definitely for people who love to dance. Having performed for Concerts, Festivals, Corporate shows, Pub Shows, Private gigs - The band knows to take the crowd in their own unique style.
