Dye intricate designs onto fabric with the help of tying, clamping, compressing, pleating, binding, stitching etc. The techniques used act as a resist and the remaining portion of the fabric gets colour.

About the artist:

Jaishika Ratanpal is a Textile Designer with a passion to create an awareness about natural dyes. She is an experienced Textile lecturer with over 17 years experience in teaching subjects like textiles, weaving, embroidery, History of Indian textiles and world textiles, dyeing and designing.
