Hello Walkers,

We are here with another Heritage Walk. We will explore some new routes in Delhi's New Walled City, Shahjahanabad on Sunday, 15th January morning. Starting from Turkman Gate and proceeding to Jama Masjid via Kalan Masjid, Sultan Razia's Tomb, and the Dargah of Hazrat Shah Turkman Bayabani. It is commonly known as Old Delhi or Purani Dilli today, but it has a rich history and heritage from the Sultanate period. We will take you on a tour through the walled city to see the old Havelis and exotic markets.

Rs. 400/PAX.

Students of 15 Years or below are free from the charges.

Essentials

-As we will be visiting Holy Shrines, please wear comfortable shoes (easy to remove). Also, bring a cloth to cover your head, and dress appropriately.

-To avoid plastic waste please carry water bottles with you.

Best way to reach

Please arrive at the meeting point by 8:45 AM. The nearest metro station is Delhi Gate(Violet Line) Exit from gate no. 3 Take an e-rickshaw from the metro station to Turkman Gate, and you will reach the destination. Public buses and cabs are also an option(Please use Google Maps in that case). There is an adequate parking space near Turkman gate for those with their vehicles.
