KASHISH Mumbai International Queer Film Festival in association with Kala Ghoda Arts Festival, is proud to host a discussion about Trans Representation in Mainstream Media, by bringing together actors and content creators to discuss how has been the representation of transgender men and women and the broad spectrum within this community in feature films and web series released recently in theaters or OTT platforms. Do these trans portrayals reflect real lives, real issues and real situations of the trans community? How can we create a more inclusive space for real-life trans actors?
