Do you love teaching and are fluent in Urdu? Would you like to contribute to the repertoire of teaching-learning resources in Urdu? If yes, Teach in Urdu is looking for volunteers to help translate educational resources from English/Hindi to Urdu.

How can volunteers help?:

Volunteers can help by translating/creating various educational resources from English/Hindi into Urdu such as:

• Articles
• Worksheets
• Activities and Lesson Plans
• Video scripts
• Apps
• Games
• Simulations

Things to keep in mind:

Volunteers are required to:

• be fluent in Urdu and English/Hindi
• have a keen interest in teaching
• be able to work on Google docs/ MS Office (Word, PowerPoint)

Access to laptop/ mobile should be kept in mind.

Time commitment needed by the Volunteer:

Minimum of 1 hour per day for a period ranging 1 month - 3 months.

Teach in Urdu is an initiative to create a dynamic collaborative network of teachers and other stakeholders within the educational sector especially in Urdu. Their main focus is to address the lack of free and easily accessible educational resources in Urdu. Teach In Urdu provides open educational resources in a wide range of subjects from Science and Mathematics to Arts, Social Sciences and Environmental Science.
