About Hairhar Fort :-

Harihar Fort is, located in Igatpuri region of Western Ghats. Situated at an altitude of about 3, 676 ft above sea level, this unique fort is built on a triangular prism of rock. A small temple and a cave with water, situated on the top, are worth visiting. Thrilling spot: Rock-cut steps at an angle of almost 80 degrees vertical. While climbing the fort, we come across a rock-sheet, which has got steps carved in it. Also, many grooves have been carved here for additional support. After climbing these steps, we get up to the entrance door.

Itnerary :-

10:30 pm Meet us at SGNP main gate, Borivali.

10:45 pm Start journey towards Harihar.

11:15 pm Pick up at WEH metro station bus stop.

11:30 pm Pick up at Kalanagar bus stop (on highway), Bandra.

11.45 pm Pick up at Sion station circle.

12.00 am Pick up at Amar Mahal.

12:30 am Pick up at Teen Hath Naka, Thane.

01:00 am Pick up at Kalyan Bypass.

Day 2

04:30 Reach at base village and rest in the bus.

05:30 Have a breakfast.

06:00 Start ascending.

09:30 Reach on top. Explore top.

10:30 Start descending.

13:30 Reach at base village and have a lunch.

14:30 Start return journey towards Mumbai.

20:00 Approx. arrival at Mumbai.

Cover your bags with rain cover.

Things to Remember:-

Basic toilet facility will be available at the base village.

We advise participants to not opt such event with any medicial issues.

We don’t recommend participants to reach the base village with own vechile as considering complicated route & respecting everyone’s time.

Smoking / drinking / Smoke up is strictly prohibited during the event. Anyone found will be expelled from the event immediately.

Trek Leader decision will be final & argument will be enterainted.

Participants Safety is the prime concern for us and will not compromise for the same.

Trek India is not Responsible for any baggage or personal belonging loss/damage and participant are responsible for the same.
