11:30 AM: Spend some time at the viewpoints

05:00 PM: Reach base camp at Kurangani
07:00 PM: Campfire and dinner
Day 2
06:30 AM: Start the trek to kolukkumalai after breakfast
09:30 PM: We will be halting at the viewpoint
01:30 PM: Have the packed Lunch
02:30 PM: Reach Suryanelli from Kolukkumalai(in Jeep)
03:30 PM: Reach Munnar
05:00 PM: Start back to Ernakulam/Bangalore

Top Station, located around 32 km away from Munnar, is the highest point (1700m) in Munnar. There are enough of buses that connects Munnar and Top Station.
Munnar is well connected to major cities and towns in Kerala and neighboring states by the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC). National highway number 85 connects Munnar with other parts of the country. Private buses, jeeps and taxis can also be hired to reach Munnar.
Private buses are available from Bangalore, Coimbatore which can be booked via redbus and other similar websites.
