An Evening with Indrajeet More – Author of Solo

Barely a year into college, Indrajeet More was offered the opportunity to host a travel show on budget backpacking across India. What followed was a year-long journey through thirteen cities—filled with unforgettable experiences: getting lost in the forests of coastal Karnataka, camping in the snowy Himalayas, dancing to Naga folk music, and hunting for toddy in rural Kerala.

Through these moments, Indrajeet explored the unfamiliar while reflecting on his upbringing in a Maharashtrian household. Solo captures this journey—a raw, unfiltered look at contemporary India through the eyes of a young backpacker. It’s a story of curiosity, culture, solitude, and ultimately, finding a sense of belonging far from home.

Indrajeet will be in conversation with Vedant Naik (co-admin of SwapBook!) to delve into the making of the book and the stories behind it. A limited number of copies of Solo will be available for purchase at the venue.

About the Author:

Indrajeet More is a filmmaker and illustrator based in Mumbai. A philosophy graduate from Ramnarain Ruia College, he has previously directed food shows, sketch comedies, and travel content for a Marathi platform. Now an independent creator, Indrajeet’s storytelling spans film, comics, and writing, often inspired by his immersive travels across India.
