About the Event
After exploring the diverse diasporas that shaped Bombay and delving into its historic precincts, Avid Learning proudly presents the third installment of its acclaimed series Uncovering Urban Legacies. This edition will focus on the everyday symbols that have become synonymous with the city's identity.
The session will shine a spotlight on three of Bombay’s most iconic urban symbols — taxis, public clocks, and statues. Through expert-led discussions and immersive storytelling, we will explore how these emblems have evolved, the cultural stories they carry, and what their presence—or absence—says about the city today.
Join us as we uncover the hidden narratives behind these urban icons, offering a fascinating glimpse into Bombay’s past, present, and future.
