About the Event
In 1931, author, photographer, botanist and avid mountaineer, Frank Smythe sailed from England and serendipitously discovered the hidden Valley of Flowers. With a host of different colours and fragrances created by more than 300 varieties of flowers, Smythe instantly fell in love with this place.
It's 2016, and Nirvana Nomads wants to take you for an adventure trip to the Valley of Flowers. Complete with camping and trekking, this escape from the city will make you see the best of the mountains and nature. Bonus: On your way back, you even get to visit the Beatles Ashram.
- Leave for Rishikesh post supper. Rest through the overnight journey for the first leg of the journey starting journey
- Arrive early morning in Rishikesh.Start your travel through riverside roads. Rest at govind ghat for the night
- Start a 14 KM hike from Govind Ghat to Ghangria. Reach your campsite and stay here for the night
- Explore the valley of flowers
- Head to Hemkund Sahib - A Gurudwara @4400 mts
- Have lunch at the Langar
- Head back to the campsite for the night
- We begin our descend from Govind Ghat. Drive to Badrinath and Mala village (the last village on Tibet Village
- Head back to Rishikesh and rest here for the night
- Explore Rishikesh and indulge yourself in the street food culture of Rishikesh
- Post Lunch, head over to the famous - Beatle Ashram
- Leave for Delhi in the evening
- All hotel and camping accommodations
